SketchIt works with any low odor whiteboard or dry-erase markers.

SketchIt is a glossy smooth finish. Chalk will not work on it.

No! You can’t use. If you find dry erase crayons then you can use without any fear. SketchIt is recommended only with dry erase or whiteboard marker.

It will damage the surface but you can restore the surface with the help of Cleaner/water.

A Smooth surface is most recommended.

For SketchIt White, You need to prime the wall with water based latex primer and allow it to dry for 24 hour.

For SketchIt Clear, Surface need to satin, gloss type of painted wall (any colour). If freshly painted then wall need to be cure/dry for 5 days.

For surface prep, repair any divots, scratches or bumps on the wall so the surface will be as smooth as possible. If you have applied a fresh coat of paint prior to applying SketchIt Clear, make sure to let the paint dry a minimum of 5 days before applying SketchIt. Do not apply SketchIt Clear directly over primer alone.

Primers and Sealers help give a surface a smooth finish. Secondly, they act to 'seal' a surface. This means that when you apply SketchIt on a surface that has been primed / sealed, the properties within our whiteboard paint will stay on the wall rather than be absorbed into the wall. In summary, using a primer or sealer means you will get a smoother surface with optimum write-on wipe-off functionality.

You can apply SketchIt product 5 days after latex paint has dried to insure the best coverage.

Yes, You can use acrylic or oil-based paint just allowed it to cure for 5 days before SketchIt application.

SketchIt is ready to use in hours, not days. SketchIt will be ready to write on after 48 hours. If you write on the surface before the 48-hour drying period, it could permanently damage the SketchIt-ed surface. If you are ever unsure, simply test a small section of the SketchIt-ed surface with a low odor dry-erase marker.

Erase it with a micro-fiber cloth. To accelerate or enhance the cleaning process, use our Clean-off Cleaner. Spritz a small amount on the area to be cleaned and wipe with a micro-fiber cloth. Then wipe with a towel saturated with water to remove any residue. Using a paper towel, dry the surface and you’re ready to write.

With proper maintenance and normal wear and tear, SketchIt retains its dry-erase ability for 5+ years indoors before you ever need to recoat the surface. It’s guaranteed not to crack, peel, stain, yellow or fade with proper use and maintenance.

If you ever find that you do not need your SketchIt-ed surface, you can simply paint over it just as you would do any painted wall. Lightly sand the surface, prime and then paint.
